For my coffee shop visit I decided to go to Equal Exchange Café in Boston, MA. I visited the café with my girlfriend on a comfortable Sunday morning. I recommend going early in the morning to try to beat Boston traffic. Once we got there I was very happy to see a parking lot because parking in Boston is not the easiest thing to do.

My first initial reaction when I walked in was that it had a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Most of the people who were there seemed to be older couples. The woman at the register was very welcoming and answered all my questions regarding their coffee. Personally, I love cold brew coffee and was extremely pleased to see that they offer it. I ordered their largest cold brew coffee and put a dash of milk in it. The coffee was fantastic. My girlfriend and I were very pleased with the quality of the coffee compared to previous iced coffee we have gotten from Dunkin Donuts and Marylou’s. With our coffee we got organic chocolate, it was by far better than most chocolate that you get in any store. I highly recommend eating some chocolate to go with your coffee. Along with cold brew coffee they offer hot coffee, cappuccinos, tea, hot cocoa, espressos and more. They also serve fresh lunch sandwiches, soups and some breakfast food to go along with your drink.

The thing that really caught my eye about Equal Exchange Café was not only did they sell fair trade coffee; they also sold fair trade tea, cocoa, olive oil, and almonds. You can get get high quality products while supporting a great cause.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the coffee so much that we decided to go every Sunday morning, and to get a different item on the menu every time. If you are looking for high quality coffee not only to drink, but also to buy, I highly recommend Equal Exchange Café.

You can take fair trade coffee home
